TrueSpindle LoadCheck

Prove it is the right program before it runs.

At the machine, LoadCheck checks each program against the machine and the part in front of you, then saves a checked copy where it belongs.

Six steps at the machine

  1. Pick the machine. From the shop's machine list. It remembers the machine picked here last.
  2. Pick the programs. Up to 50 at a time, or drag them onto the window.
  3. Check. Every editor safety check for that machine, plus machine fit, header, file name, and file type checks.
  4. Read the card. GO, CHECK, or STOP, with the header facts, file dates, who saved it, the tools, and any problems.
  5. Is this your part? Type or scan the part number from the traveler. A mismatch turns the card red and beeps.
  6. Save. The exact file that was checked goes to the machine's finished folder.

What the card shows

Everything needed to tell if it is the right file, without opening it: part, revision, op, program number, modified and created dates, who saved it, size, units, the tools in load order, and every problem, worst first.

  • Program number from the start of the program, never one it calls
  • Tool sizes shown in the program's own units
  • Problems listed with line numbers and a code
  • Where Save will put the file, and what is there now

Questions

Can someone go on past a warning?

Yes, when they have a reason. Going on anyway asks for the reason and logs it, so it is on the record.

Does it work with a barcode scanner?

Yes. Enter on a matched part number moves to the next program waiting, so a whole set can be confirmed in a row.

How fast is it?

A 10,000 line program is checked in about a third of a second on a Core i5 laptop.

Does it need a network?

Only your own shop folder on your file share. It never connects to the internet.
